EDDY Award

The RCSBA Annual Outstanding Service Award - the “EDDY” (For Education)

The Eddy Award, Established in 1979, was created for the purpose of recognizing outstanding board of education service to the children of Rockland County. The EDDY has become a symbol of excellence, dedication, and esteem in the Rockland County educational community.

The Eddy Award is a countywide honor presented annually to a well deserving school board member whose commitment to their district and public education has created a higher standard of excellence. Major consideration in the selection of the winner is given to those individuals who have made significant contributions to the education of the children of Rockland County. Nominations are to be past or present school board members.

Nominations can come from any school board member or school district administrator. You may nominate a board member from any district in Rockland County.
